ASUU HAS FAILED NIGERIANS By Dr. Shadi Sabeh {{Aluta Sultan}}

I may be wrong but I totally disagree with my fellow ASUU colleagues on this ignorant and unscientific point.

I ask some basic questions :

1. Did ASUU commission members to embark on a robust research that formed the basis of this findings. If yes, what methodology was adopted and what was the scope of the study period. If no, then I guess the Nigerian academia has just been transformed into a group of mass communicators ranting without empirical evidences. Chai there is God ohhh

2. Did ASUU generate this position from members across branches through Congress meetings or is this just another autocratic, undemocratic and unacceptable idea imposed on thousand of members by a mafia few who are definitely not speaking on behalf of the union.

3. Is ASUU trying to gain cheap popularity and relevance by suddenly wailing to the dismay of Nigerians.

4. Is ASUU doing the bidding of the opposition by making statements that do not tally with the due process of investigations and factual evidences. Haba even journalistic reporting these days are investigative in style and manner.

5. Did ASUU discuss the dearth of its relevance in actually fighting for the rights of members in various branches. Oh sorry I forgot it's not possible since in some branches like mine (shhhh) the leadership is also part of management. Kai na wa ohhh.

Finally, I advise ASUU to go back and follow due process of actually making statements on behalf of members. This position is not acceptable and of course does not represent the feelings of thousands of members across the country.

Thank God I m one of you, if not I for no hear word...
