Shadi Sabeh, a Sokoto entrepreneur and school
proprietor whose work has impacted the education
States President, Barack Obama. Sabeh, along with other budding African
entrepreneurs, were hosted at the White House by
Obama in 2015.
He has used his school, Brilliant Footsteps Academy,
Sokoto, to shape the minds of future leaders and offer
lessons in moral and academic disciplines
. During the meeting, Sabeh presented the letter given
to him by Obama to Governor Tambuwal, and
requested that it be donated to the State History and
Culture Bureau.
He told Governor Tambuwal that any honour done to
him as an individual is an honour to Sokoto State. Tambuwal thanked Sabeh for the gesture, and
assured of the State Government's commitment to
excellence in education and development of more
entrepreneurs in Sokoto State.
